Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures with precision
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare detailed financial statements and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasting
- Lead weekend reconciliation processes for high-volume transactions
- Implement process improvements for weekend accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Proven weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun 8am-5pm)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
