Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and improve workflow efficiencies
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
- Remote work experience and self-motivated work ethic
- Effective communication skills for virtual collaboration
