Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare and issue monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure all tax filings are submitted on time.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash funds.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
