Responsibilities
- Execute weekly closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations, with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the full-time finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or finance.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
