Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, monthly reports, and reconciliation documents during the weekend shift.
- Payroll Processing: Manage payroll calculations and disbursements for the upcoming week with strict adherence to company policies and tax regulations.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the week-day finance team to ensure a seamless transition of financial data and reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with weekend shift or shift-work experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (Advanced functions), and other accounting software.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to spot errors in complex data sets.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with senior management.
