Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate month-end closing
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead tax preparation processes and maintain documentation for IRS audits
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Develop financial models for strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, FASB standards, and tax regulations
- Proven track record of managing month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
