Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Manage payroll processing using QuickBooks or ADP.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Provide exceptional service to clients regarding their financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
