Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly bank statements and general ledger accounts with precision.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audit schedules.
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure all employee compensation is handled correctly.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Perform monthly financial close procedures in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required; Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and discrepancies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
