- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Ensure strict compliance with HMRC regulations and tax legislation.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax returns.
- Collaborate with the finance manager to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Full or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Proven experience in accounting or financial analysis within the UK market.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and macros.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
