Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with tax professionals during audit preparation and quarterly tax filings
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Xero) for operational efficiency
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve client cash flow and profitability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Texas sales tax compliance and payroll processing
