Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, oversee month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Prepare and file necessary federal and state tax returns on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Strong working knowledge of internal controls and financial auditing principles.
- CPA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
