As a Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions while providing vital support to our accounting department.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly close procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and P&L statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks or Xero.
- Process payroll for employees and contractors accurately and on time.
- Reconcile credit card statements and investigate any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (1-3 years minimum).
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
