Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve account issues with a solution-oriented approach.
- Cash Handling: Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and bill payments with 100% accuracy and strict adherence to security protocols.
- Transaction Accuracy: Verify checks and cash, balance daily teller drawers, and reconcile discrepancies immediately.
- Product Promotion: Identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce customers to our suite of financial products, including savings accounts and credit cards.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations and internal security policies to prevent fraud and theft.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain a clean and organized work area, and complete required daily paperwork and reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of cash handling or customer service experience in the banking or retail sector.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude, proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
- Licensure: Must pass a background check and obtain necessary banking certifications upon hire.
