Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for stakeholders.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced correctly.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Payroll: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll data.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is preferred but not mandatory for immediate consideration.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
