Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and expense control initiatives
- Lead tax preparation processes and liaise with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial audits and compliance processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial data clearly
- Proven track record of improving accounting workflows and efficiency
