Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor relationships
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance across multi-state operations
- Implement and optimize internal controls for financial accuracy
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in regulated industries
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record with multi-state payroll processing
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Experience with financial software implementation (e.g., Xero, Sage)
