Job Overview
As our Night Shift Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization. You will handle daily transaction processing, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with the day team to close the books efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews nightly.
- Process payroll and maintain employee time sheets and leave balances.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and track payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM CST).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
