Responsibilities
- Assist with Month-End Close: Support the accounting team in preparing monthly financial statements and adjusting entries.
- Reconcile Accounts: Perform bank reconciliations and verify accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing basic financial reports and data analysis for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships included).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
