We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. Due to rapid business expansion, we are urgently hiring for a Direct Hire position in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and prepare variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial processes and reporting timelines.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and support external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and management.
