Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before payment processing.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently to maintain healthy vendor relationships.
- Manage incoming vendor inquiries via email and phone in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and financial reporting preparation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents and invoices.
- Perform data entry and update accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) as required.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (basic functions and formatting).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace are required.
