Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Organize and file financial documents and tax records.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track expenses and budgets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Pro/Online and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
