Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Payroll Management: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal laws.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and analysis.
