Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and coordinate external financial audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (Advanced level).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliation, and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
