Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors efficiently.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfers, or checks while adhering to payment terms.
- Maintain and update the vendor master file and ensure accurate tax documentation (1099s, W9s).
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payment schedules professionally.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) to enter data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and general accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
