Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns using professional software
- Conduct client consultations to understand financial situations and tax planning needs
- Research tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with senior associates on complex tax cases and audit support
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with IRS standards
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with tax legislation and software updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with numerical data
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions and team collaboration
