Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Research complex tax issues and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies and IRS correspondence
- Collaborate with senior team members on client engagements and deliverables
- Maintain accurate client documentation and workflow management
- Support audit preparation and tax compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (internships accepted)
- Active CPA license or progress toward certification
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
