- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry trends to evaluate credit risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and loan recommendations for senior management
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on regulatory requirements and lending industry best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and commercial lending regulations
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication abilities for presenting complex financial information
- Experience with credit origination software (e.g., Ellie Mae, Fiserv)
