Responsibilities
- Process daily cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring 100% accuracy and balancing of the drawer.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve account issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction scores.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and manage cash drawers efficiently throughout the shift.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet and exceed branch sales targets.
- Identify and report potential fraud or suspicious activities in strict compliance with banking regulations (BSA/AML).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a strong plus.
- Previous cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to count cash accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on client service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
