Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Research complex tax regulations and provide compliance guidance
- Manage client relationships through proactive communication
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem, Lacerte) for accurate filings
- Collaborate with audit team for integrated financial services
- Identify tax optimization opportunities for high-net-worth clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IRS and Tennessee tax codes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience
- Active CPA license or progress toward certification
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environment
