Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP and SAP systems
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, NC withholding)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and voluntary benefit deductions
- Prepare and submit year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099)
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Maintain confidential employee payroll records
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms
- Deep knowledge of NC payroll tax regulations and labor laws
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to start immediately upon offer acceptance
