As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of our bank, building lasting relationships with our community members while ensuring the accuracy and security of all financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting clients with account issues.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards, to meet branch goals.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards.
- Assist with lobby operations, including managing lines, organizing paperwork, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Identify opportunities to assist with back-office tasks or support the financial advisor team as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail banking, customer service, or cash handling preferred.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and POS systems (training provided).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must possess a professional appearance and demeanor.
