Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, AZ labor laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with 100% accuracy
- Lead quarterly and year-end payroll audits with external auditors
- Implement payroll system enhancements and process improvements
- Support HR with compensation analysis and employee benefit administration
- Maintain confidential payroll records and documentation per SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced expertise in ADP Workforce Now or comparable HCM system
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Proven track record in payroll compliance and audit management
- Exceptional attention to detail with <0.1% error rate in prior roles
- Strong analytical skills for compensation trend analysis
