Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct thorough tax research and provide compliance guidance
- Collaborate with senior associates to resolve complex tax issues
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem, Lacerte, etc.) for efficient processing
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Communicate tax strategies and opportunities to clients
- Stay updated on changing tax regulations and IRS requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience (CPA or EA preferred)
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
- Louisiana CPA license (or willingness to obtain)
