Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscape
- Architect and execute innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proofing strategies into corporate planning
- Build and manage ecosystem of academic, startup, and industry partnerships for innovation acceleration
- Develop predictive models for market disruption scenarios and mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling visual narratives and strategic briefs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with proven impact on long-term transformation
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) and market adoption curves
- Exceptional ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Track record of building innovation ecosystems and managing high-impact R&D portfolios
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field required
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and quantitative forecasting tools
- Strong network of relationships in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem preferred
