Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial data entry.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analysis, and reports for management.
- Assist in the preparation of tax schedules and audit support documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Candidate status is highly preferred.
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
