Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment execution.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support budgeting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
