Responsibilities
- Manage Financial Records: Accurately maintain and update general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for management review.
- Month-End Close: Oversee the end-of-month closing process, ensuring all financial reports are generated and distributed on time.
- Compliance & Tax: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their financial inquiries and billing statements.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or certification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure high-quality data accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
