Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures accurately and on time.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets and P&Ls, ensuring full compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and external audits.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management regarding financial performance.
- Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
