Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing cycle for 500+ employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local (NV) tax regulations, including FLSA and unemployment laws.
- Process complex payroll adjustments, garnishments, tax filings, and benefit deductions accurately.
- Prepare and audit payroll reports, including year-end W-2s and 1099s, in accordance with IRS standards.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries with a high level of customer service.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to maintain accurate employee records and timekeeping data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in payroll processing and administration.
- Proficiency with major payroll software systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Paychex, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Strong working knowledge of Nevada state payroll tax laws, wage reporting, and labor compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and HRIS platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in large datasets.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources is preferred.
