Responsibilities
- Process complex financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and currency exchanges
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized financial guidance
- Resolve customer inquiries and disputes with empathy and efficiency
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for premium banking products
- Maintain strict compliance with federal banking regulations and security protocols
- Train junior tellers on operational procedures and customer service excellence
- Reconcile daily cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in retail banking or cash handling
- Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA/AML)
- Proficient in core banking software (e.g., Fiserv, FIS)
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Valid Texas Notary Public commission preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred
