Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a high degree of accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct tax planning and research to identify opportunities for tax savings and optimization for high-net-worth clients.
- Manage client relationships, providing expert tax consultation and addressing complex inquiries.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Stay abreast of changing tax laws and regulations to ensure our firm remains compliant and competitive.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax provision workpapers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA/MST) preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is highly preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments.
- Strong proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx Tax, UltraTax) and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
