Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal/state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Conduct tax research and planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Manage IRS/state audits and inquiries with precision
- Develop client relationships through proactive communication and advisory services
- Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Utilize tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx) for efficient processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (Master's preferred)
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
- 3+ years of public tax experience with Big 4 or mid-size firm
- Expertise in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
