Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for a diverse portfolio of clients including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific financial reporting standards
- Lead audit preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors for seamless reviews
- Develop and implement efficient accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Provide financial forecasting and budgeting support to drive strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables), and financial reporting software
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in variance analysis and financial modeling
- Excellent written communication abilities for clear financial reporting to non-finance stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
