Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy, ensuring timely payment within 30-day terms
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies through proactive communication
- Manage expense reports, receipts, and payment documentation with meticulous record-keeping
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting tasks
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP) to maintain accurate AP ledger
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize payment workflows
- Support internal audits and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounts payable or finance internship experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and QuickBooks
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong numerical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
