Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Implement and optimize accounting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Lead internal audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent ERP systems
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication and collaborative abilities
- Experience in manufacturing or financial services industry preferred
