Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and FLSA requirements
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and year-end tax filings (W-2/1099)
- Support HR with benefit enrollments and leave-of-absence tracking
- Implement process improvements using data analytics
- Train junior payroll staff on system updates and procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent HCM system
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expertise in tax compliance for NC and surrounding states
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Proven problem-solving with audit resolution experience
- Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration
