- Reconcile patient accounts and resolve billing discrepancies within 24 hours
- Generate monthly revenue reports and analyze aging accounts receivable
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation compliance for billing
- Train staff on billing software updates and regulatory changes
- Conduct audits to identify process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare Administration
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expertise in Epic, NextGen, or Medisoft billing platforms
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and CMS regulations
