Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes for 50+ daily patient accounts
- Resolve insurance claim denials and appeals within 15-day SLA
- Conduct thorough account reconciliations and audit billing accuracy
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture integrity
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
- Train staff on billing system updates and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Proficiency with Epic or NextGen EHR platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer policies
- Exceptional analytical skills with 99.5% billing accuracy
- Strong problem-solving abilities for complex claim resolution
- Effective communication with clinical and financial stakeholders
