Responsibilities
- Process and administer bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage multi-state tax filings, garnishments, and year-end reconciliations
- Conduct payroll audits and implement process improvements
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies within SLAs
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Stay current on CA labor laws and FLSA compliance requirements
- Prepare payroll reports for finance and executive leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent designation
- Expert knowledge of CA wage and hour regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with garnishment administration and tax compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven ability to manage confidential payroll data
