Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, GA withholding)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies within SLAs
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external auditors
- Train HR staff on payroll processes and system updates
- Implement continuous improvements in payroll workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) required
- Expert knowledge of GA tax codes and federal labor regulations
- Proven ability to manage confidential payroll data with discretion
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail (99.9% accuracy standard)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
